How it works

This score measures YOUR answers against local-marketing best practices, not against made-up industry averages. Each question compares what your business does today with what a well-positioned Miami business should have: a complete Google Business Profile, recent reviews, a fast mobile site, visibility in local and AI search, measurable advertising, and an organized way to follow up with every lead. The score draws on Brito Marketing's 20-plus years of work with businesses of every kind and size, and on established local-SEO principles. No fake statistics, no secret data: if an area scores low, it's because something concrete is missing, and that can be fixed.

What we measure

01

Google Business Profile

When someone in Miami searches for what you offer, your Google Business Profile (the one that shows up on Google Maps) is usually the first thing they see. A claimed profile that's complete and active, with photos, the right categories, current hours and timely replies, is what makes people choose you instead of the business next door.

02

Reviews & Reputation

Many people read other customers' reviews before deciding who to call, and they weigh them heavily. On top of that, a steady stream of recent, positive reviews is also one of the signals that can help you rank higher in local searches.

03

Website & mobile

Your website is your business's first impression, and most of your customers will likely open it on their phone. If it loads slowly, looks broken on mobile, or isn't in their language, they'll leave for a competitor before they ever call you.

04

Getting Found Locally

When someone nearby searches for what you offer, they usually call or visit one of the first businesses they see, often that same day. And it's not just people searching anymore: ChatGPT, Google's AI and Perplexity recommend businesses too, but only if your information is accurate and consistent everywhere.

05

AI visibility

More and more people ask an assistant like ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity who to call. The answer comes from what the AI finds about your business: your website, your Google profile, your reviews and what other sites say about you. If that information is unclear or inconsistent, you get left out of the recommendation.

06

Ads & New Customers

A lot of people search for a business like yours right when they're ready to buy or call. Advertising done right puts you in front of those people at the right moment; without tracking your cost per customer, there's no way to know if you're investing or just spending.

07

Content and social media

Before they call, many people check your social media to see whether your business is active and looks professional. Real photos and videos of your work, posted consistently and in your customers' language, build a kind of trust an ad alone can't.

08

Follow-up & retention

Many people reach out to more than one business, and whoever answers first usually has the edge. If you take hours to reply or have no way to follow up, you lose customers who were ready to buy, and past customers rarely hear from you again.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is this scorecard?

It's a free 16-question self-assessment covering 8 areas of your business's marketing: your Google profile, your reviews, your website and mobile, your local SEO, your visibility in AI assistants, your advertising, your content and social media, and your customer follow-up. At the end you get a 0-to-100 score, the breakdown by area, and honest recommendations on what to fix first. It takes about 4 minutes.

How is my score calculated?

Every answer you give is compared to local-marketing best practices, not to invented industry averages. We add up your strong areas and subtract where something is missing, which produces a 0-to-100 score with a breakdown for each of the 8 areas. It's based on Brito's 20-plus years of experience and on established local-SEO principles.

Is it really free?

Yes, completely free with no card and no commitment. At the end we offer you, only if you want it, a personalized diagnostic with our team, but that's entirely optional. The score and the recommendations are yours at no cost.

What do I do with my score once I have it?

Use it as a map. Look first at the areas with the lowest scores, because that's usually where a small change brings the biggest results. The recommendations tell you what to fix and in what order. You can work on them yourself, with your team, or ask us to help you move faster.

Is my data safe? What do you use it for?

Your answers are used only to calculate your score and show you your recommendations. If you leave your email or phone, it's to send you your result and, if you asked for it, schedule your personalized diagnostic; we never sell your data or flood you with spam. You can take the scorecard and keep just your score.
